I know I know this is like the 3rd thread on autograph books,
my question is DD got one on our trip last year (the kind with the picture holder), and she filled it about halfway full (mostly princesses) Should I reuse the leftover pages this year, or will that take away the "magic"
Would it be awkward to have the same characters from last year sign this year in the same book?
:confused3

Ackward for whom?

The characters aren't going to mind, and your if your DD is too young to notice then I think is is a non-issue.

Besides, the $8 you save on an autograph book can go toward some pins or ice cream or a marguarita in Epcot!!! :hippie:

My youngest DD has used the same autograph book for three trips now. She likes to get autographs over and over. Once Minnie pointed to the page and then pointed to herself, meaning that she already signed the book. My DD just forgot ot find a page that didn't have a Minnie signature on it. :rolleyes1

We get a new autograph book per child each trip--we go every year. It isn't necessarily one from WDW though (this years is from the dollar store, with Disney stickers added nicely to the cover). Saves $$$. We mark the first page/inside cover with the dates of our trip, lodging info, and a picture of the hotel.

We then have a character sign one page and take a picture of the signing for the other page. It's a great keepsake, seeing how they change from year to year and having a different record of each characters we've seen on different trips.

That said, I don't think it is awful to reuse the same book. It's just not what we do. In the end, the book is more for me than for them. Although, they do love to look at the books and pictures all the time.

I just got the cutest autograph book off E-bay. It is a lady that hand makes bags to carry the books in, the best part is they match. She has a ton of Disney fabric. The book she supplies is 4x6 I think. The strap on the bag, the kids can use to put there pins on. Mine was $12 including shipping. I got red/white polka dot fabric for minnie with a big black bow on the front and the strap is black too. I don't know if we are allowed to post pictures on here, but I can take a picture of mine if anyone wants to see it. ;)

Cute book and bag!

I can't see why you shouldn't reuse a book - as long as you give them a blank page to sign on ;)

I don't see why not maybe on the lower left hand corner you can take a sharpie to each page and put the year in small print. That way when you see Cinderella again in the second half the year will be different and you can see how much she has grown up!
