We usually buy autograph books when we visit the World. I was thinking of trying to make autograph books for our next trip (not for 9 more months, but you can never start too early). I have a few questions.

1. Should I put the book together before I go? I was thinking if I kept them loose somehow that when I got home I could bind only the used ones and leave out the blanks. Would that work or be an organiztional mess????

2. Do you print every character so you don't see someone and realize you don't have a page for that character?

3. What happens when you see two characters together - ex. Hook and Smee or Goofy and Pluto? Usually they pass the book to each other and sign the next page. How do you make sure they sign their page???

4. Do you print them yourself or have them done somewhere?

I would appreciate any advice. Let me know all of your tips!

Excellent questions. I will try to answer a few. I just put together one for my son. We are leaving in one day!!!!! Anyhow, I didn't print all the characters only the one's I thought we would see/or he would like to see. I also included some generic pages just in case.

I had mine printed as a "flip book" on Walmart.com and it came out amazing. It cost me less than $10 and my book was 45 pages long (I think). I am bring along a Sharpie for them to sign with.

I Printed out about 60 pages of characters I thought my daughter would like to see. A couple doubles as we are going to a few character meals. So, those pages have the character on them with the character meal place like 1900 Park and Ohana's on it also. My daughter loves Pluto so I did a few extra of that also.

I printed them at home and had them bound at Staples, cost about $3.00. What ever characters don't get signed I will take out before putting in a 4x6 photo book. When printing them I allowed for a little space , about 1/2 inch on the left hand margin for the binding. I will be cutting it off and putting the pages in a photo book with a picture of my daughter - or me - on the opposite page in the book.

As for the double characters I will leave it up to my daughter as to how she wants that. She usually likes them to sign the same page...unless it's Pluto then all goes a little crazy....she's nuts for the dog.

If she wants them to sign them both it's just as easy as saying to them "could you both sign your own page?" Since pairs like Hook and Smee or Pinocchio and Geppetto are in the book in order it will be easier for the character to find his/her page when if/when the other gives it to them.
