Going to WDW mid March. DD is 4 DS will be 3

Would you do one autograph book, since they will be standing there together when you snap the picture or would you do one for each of them?

thanks

At that age, I would suggest just one. Many times, a book is good for a shy child to use as an ice breaker to approach characters. If they get the hang of autographs, they might take turns holding the book. One is easier to manage at that age. However, since they are not that expensive, you can bring a 2nd book just in case you need it halfway through the trip.

With my 2 boys, ages 6 and 3 on our October trip, my DS3 was not at all into the autographs. My DS6 was and he managed the book for us. DS3 liked to look at the book at lunch breaks and back at the hotel, but otherwise could have cared less. He loved interacting with the characters, was not shy about approaching or playing with them. He wanted to play with the characters instead of getting them to sign some paper.

my kids are too young to care now. but i bought them the Junior Encyclopedia of Disney Characters from Amazon. It was $25, but it has a blurb about every character up to 2004 and a pic. We'll have the character sign their page. That way the kids can read it when they are older and will have the autograph right there!

They're cheap enough, I say get 2.

That way if one gets lost, you have a backup!

Thanks.
The book on characters is a great idea!!!!!
Husband agrees with just one autograph book for this trip.
I am now going to upload the autograph cards (many many thanks to the Designers here on the boards, you guys are the greatest ) to have them printed.

We brought two...just picked up little disney notebooks from the dollar store. ONce home, I added pictures of our girls with the characters and let them put in some stickers....I just printed pics on regular paper and glued them in. Turned it into a fun activity.

My kids wouldn't have wanted to share - they both (at that age) needed their own autographs.

Now they don't care about autographs at all. Well, except my daughter still got Minnie's.

I would do one for each child. For each of our trips, I have bought small spiral bound scrapbooks and decorated the pages with stickers of Disney characters. We have the characters sign one page and put a photo of the kids with the characters on the facing page. I got most of the stickers at the dollar store and it was one of my DS's favorite souveniers. He was 5 at the time and would go back and look at the book over and over. We're going back in August (he'll be 8) :cool1: and I've already started collecting stickers for this year's book. DD will be 12 and I hope not too old for a book!
