Autograph book/Disney Characters

I still have my autograph book for when my kid visited the Disney parks. Wondering about character sightings on cruise. Do the characters give autographs or just photo-op? Trying to figure if I should pack the autograph book or just leave at home.

Yes the characters will sign autograph books on the ships. I'd pack the autograph book.

My family and i will be going on our first cruise on the fantasy my kids are ages 8,10 and they love disney where can i get a that book for my kids or will the shops on the ship sale it. I would like to have it before we go on our cruise anyone know where i can get one. thanks

My one daughter did get her picture taken as well as get the book autographed so yes, they do it on the boat.

If you want to purchase one before hand, do a search on amazon for Disney autograph books. There's about a bazillion of them.

I do not think you'll ever have more character encounters than in a Disney cruise. They do it so often that times you can walk to the characters without any lines. It's the opposite of the theme parks, which is another reason why I prefer spend my $$$ on a cruise trip than on a trip to WDW.

thought i would share a tip i got from another dis friend a few years ago--make your own autograph book with photos from prior cruises or disney trips. i made mine 8 x 8 with photos from our alaska cruise through shutterfly, who has 40% off right now, then took it on our dream carribean cruise last year and had my kids get the autographs next to their photo with the characters from the prior year. i included blank pages as well for any characters we didn't have photos with. my kids (and the characters) loved the personalized autograph book--snow white even remembered them from the alaska cruise as she was on it with us! i'll do it again this year, but probably add text as my kids are older now and treat it like a story book when they look at them now with ad hoc dialogue to replace the lack of text. maybe in a few years they'll forget the story behind the photos so i think i'll start preserving their "memories" of the trip in the books as well.

thank you for the tip it's a great idea but this will be there first time , on a vacation trip and first time with disney, but i guess i can just cut out disney pictures and paste them on the blank paper. Thanks again for the idea.
