Auto mechanics, please help!

What is wrong with my van? It is a Honda Odyssey, about 2.5 years old. Whenever I have to turn the steering wheel ALL the way (like when backing out of a parking space), the entire van seems to "shift/slide" a little. At first I thought it was sliding on ice, but it is happening every time, ice or not.

What could it be?

it probably has something to do with the suspension geometry. WHen the wheel turns a large amount the spindle (that the wheel spins on) changes geometry drastically.

either that or something is broke.

bad tires
strut assembly
ball joint
overcranking it

In other words, have to see a mechanic. Is it still under warranty?
