I have a question about the auto gratuity for 6 or more guests.
We're going down at the end of April with 4 adults and 2 children (ages 2 and 1).
I made ADR's online, but I put in 6 guests because I have heard they count the little ones since they take up a seat and some restaurants can't add high chairs to tables because of spacing requirements.
Will they charge the automatic 18% gratuity to our table if I put 6 guests?
The 2 kids probably won't eat much of the food they have at the restaurants, but we picked mostly buffets/family style meals so I wasn't sure.
The restaurants we have are: O'hana, Chef Mickey's, T-Rex, and the Crystal Palace.

Any help is appreciated! :goodvibes

I'm going to close this, because all gratuity discussion for the Restaurant boards is limited to the Tipping Information sticky thread on the main Restaurant board.

But I will note that you have a party of six. The age of the persons is not relevant and it won't matter how much they eat or even if they eat at all. Because you have a party of six, you wil lbe subject to the automatic gratuity at all table service restaurants.

And if you're considering leaving the infants off the reservation, that won't work, because once you arrive and check in you will go down as a party of six and not a party of however many you reserved. You should include all party members on the ADR regardless of their age.
