This AM, I read this article in our local paper....

It is about the local chapter here in Illinois http://www.autismillinois.com/ and a fund raiser they have with a 2010 calendar with local kids who have autism. Accompanying the article was a link to a video....

Watching the video, I see so many truisms. It really is a wonderful statement.

Maybe take a moment to read the article and view the video. Maybe buy a calendar, we all do need one for the coming year.

Thanks for posting it Dan! I just sent the video to my DD who has returned to college to be a special ed. teacher. She is working as a special ed. aide in an autistic classroom and loves her kids! She previously worked in a group home with an autistic adult. She seems to have a special gift in understanding them and enjoys the challenge of reaching them.
