I just got a call from a friend at Disney who's son has Autism Spectrum. She's confused about the GAC card they gave her at Guest Services. It is stamped saying to provide him with a shaded waiting area. Does she have the right card? He has certain issues with his condition that waiting in line with all the people and the noise would be impossible. Thanks.

She should take the card (and her son) back to Guest Services and re-explain his needs. It sounds like they didn't really understand what she needed for him.
If they are able to go to the parks early in the day, they will avoid a lot of waits. Also, using Fastpass as much as possible will limit their waits to 15 minutes or less.

There isn't a specific GAC stamp for someone with autism. If she feels that the GAC doesn't meet his needs I would suggest that she go back to guest relations with her concerns. She may have been misunderstood when she stated what his needs are and she may need to clarify them.

HTH! :flower:
