Autism Special on Tonight at 9

Hi Everyone,

April is World Autisim Awareness Month. Discovery Health Channel is doing a special tonight at 9 about one family's struggles and I thought some of you might be interested. It will feature a family with six children --- ALL are autistic. I think it will be very interesting and plan on watching. If anyone wants to discuss it here after watching it, I'm game.

Another reason why I wish I had an American TV!

The more I learn, the more it helps me with the kids at work, every case is different, but they are all adorable in their own ways!

I wonder if it will be played in the UK any time soon!

Hi NikkiBell, thanks for letting us know. I'm going to watch as my son has Asperger's and I'm always trying to learn more.

As an aside, I saw Jenny McCarthy on TV last night, touting how she knows how to prevent Autism and has cured her son. Misinformation such as she is putting out there makes me so mad! My mother and I were both watching this show and I said to my mother, I'd like to give Jenny my son for a little while and see how she does. Absolutely infuriates me.

I saw Jenny McCarthy on Larry King Live while waiting at the Orlando Airport Friday night. I had to turn away after only a few minutes because she infuriated me as well. Much luck to you and your son while on this journey.
