Autism on the Seas Disney NYC oct/nov '17

I have 2 children with Autism and wanted to sail with staff with Autism on the seas. I really wanted to book a staffed cruise for respite services. Problem is I have to pick my vacation week NOW! Does anyone know how it normally works with Autism on the seas (when they release dates). Anyone else looking to sail Disney out of NYC for Oct/Nov 2017.

I have no experience with when Autism on the Seas adds cruise itineraries to their list of staffed cruises. However, I do know that the fall 2017 DCL cruises out of NYC have been available for booking for about 9 months now, so fares have already have increased and may continue to do so. I believe the Marvel Day at Sea was added which has made them popular, driving up fares.

If you really want to do one of these cruises and are open to the idea of cruising without the AotS staff, I suggest looking at pricing and booking sooner rather than later. If AotS adds one to their schedule before the PIF date, you can cancel with DCL for a full refund and rebook with AotS. If you only plan to cruise with their staff, then it makes sense to wait but you may want to have back-up vacation plans in mind.
