We are going on a cruise in February and I was wondering if there was such as things as an Autism name tag. I was thinking of maybe the puzzle ribbon with my son's first name printed on it. Doesn't have to scream "I have Autism", but just something that would be a noticeable logo with his name on it to help others be aware of his issues so people wouldn't judge him too harshly when he does something like waving his pencil in the air. :cool2:

You could try cafe press. I know they have pins .. they may have ribbons, too?

My 8 year old daughter has several t-shirts that we have her wear when we are at amusement parks and other places where she may draw attention to herself.

The shirts can be as bold as you want them to be. Some state "I have autism", but they have several designs which are just a simple autism ribbon in one corner.

Here's a link:

My DS (19) has worn for the last few years, a dog-tag style necklace. on one side is the autism symbol and a medic alert symbol and on the other is his name, diagnosis, and cell phone #'s for myself and other family members. when we travel I have him wear it outside his shirt. Also, at disney, he wears an autism patterned lanyard with his GAC in the plastic pocket. there are many web sites that sell these products. It is amazing that most people seem to recognize the puzzzle pattern when we are out and are especially nice to him.

They even have Autism temporary tattoos. I found these work best for my son. He hates necklaces and bracelets. He thinks it's so "punk" that he gets to wear a tattoo.
