Which restraunt serves more authentic Italian food?

Buca di Beppo or Luigi's d Italia

Can only give you 1/2 of an opinion. . .I haven't been to Luigi's. I thought Buca was ok, though. I'm Italian, and I'm very picky so ok is a good review on my scale. . .(and I have to say that Buca is leaps and bounds ahead of Olive Garden and Romano's Macaroni Grill - blech!!)

I have also only been to Bucca di Beppo....we loved it. The portions are huge and the food is great too.

If you do go, try and ask for the kitchen table, it's literally what it says, a table by the kitchen and the atmosphere is wonderful, so much fun but if you want to do this you definitely need to book.

I agree whole heartedly. I'm also Italian and very picky when it comes to Italian restaurants. I enjoy the stuffed pastas at Buca and the desserts are pretty good as well. I wouldn't really call it authentic but it is good. Also, I've never been to Luigi's so I can't give an opinion on that.
