When our son was younger, we went longer and sweated up our clothes more, so the in villa laundry was essential to our trip. We could go home with clean clothes, plus take fewer items in our suitcase since I would throw it all in the washer nearly every day. Could put it in the washer as we left to go to the park, into the dryer when we returned, put another load in the washer, another in the dryer after dinner. You can't do that in the public laundry rooms. We always booked one bedroom villas in those days. Now, we might book a few nights in an OKW studio (we live a lot closer and go a little more frequently now).
