Aunt or Uncle?

It's always Aunt or Uncle So & So. ALWAYS with the title.

My DH's family even uses the title and the name with the grandparents too -- it helps to differentiate when you use the same title for several sets of grandparents --

Grammy Al (Alice)
Grampy Tony

etc etc

As I approach 50 I call my Mom's sisters' by just their name now.

My nieces and nephews call me Aunt Kitty.

I call my aunts and uncles Aunt and Uncle so and so. My neice is only 5 precious months old, so she doesn't have to call me anything, her smile is all I need.

For the most part its Aunt _____ & Uncle ______. I have a few exceptions. My disney loving aunt (who's called "Tate")'s husband is known as Billy to Ryan and I. I think its becasue I was so old when she was married (9).

I call my aunts and uncles aunt____ and uncle _____, but since my youngest nephew is only 7 years younger than me it would have been strange to be called Aunt Becki.

At 52, I still use the title Aunt or Uncle. Don't know why you should stop. Also, my adult niece and nephew call me Aunt. I wouldn't like it it they didn't. They still call their parents Mom & Dad, so why not Aunt or Uncle.

My sister's kids (5 & 3) call me Tante (which means Aunt). The rest they use the title and name.

I’ve always called them Aunt and Uncle, not that I have much contact with them. Both of my nieces and 2 of my nephews call me Aunt Diane (Auntie Di, when they were younger). The oldest (born when I was a teenager and, at the time, lived in the same house) just calls me Di.
