Aulani- what to request

DH and I booked a 1 bd Oceanview in June 2015. We are celebrating his 45th birthday and we will have no children with us. I know this is going to be one of the busier times of the year, but he won an award at work which is sending him to Maui, so we figured we would add on and stay a little longer.

Where should we request? We are guaranteed an ocean view, but where are the best oceanviews at? I looked over the View thread, but wanted to get some folks opinions on the best location vs just the best view.

I took my mom last year and we loved our oceanview studio and we were in the Waianae bldg, but not sure if that is the best. This may be our last time going to Aulani, so want to take advantage as best we can.

Our favorite ocean view is Ewe building, rooms 950 and above. Great view of ocean, pool, lazy river and you can listen to music from the bar right below at night. Also nice sized balcony not the small triangles that some one bedrooms get.
