Aulani Wedding Pricing?

The DFTW website "Plan your dream wedding" tool isn't working well for Aulani. Does anyone know what the pricing is for a memories or escape package there and what is included? I have the Passporter book but I don't think it is included?

Escape really is $3900 until you start adding things on. It includes your officiant, music, some chairs, ceremony location, leis for the couple and an hour of photography. We are doing the escape package for our vow renewal coming up in April. We added on a lot of extras, but the base price for all of that was $3900.

The biggest issue with the basic is the limited locations and times....it's either early in the morning or at night. This was one of the deciding reasons we chose WDW for the wedding.
If you're happy with the basics it's cheaper than WDW though and it's certainly a beautiful location. I adore Aulani and it was originally what I was going to ask for when my fiancé finally asked me to marry him...and I still think even the basic locations are fine...but the limited times is annoying. The area around the upper adult hot tubs is beautiful but I was terrified of walking over there and up to it in my dress....

The times and locations are limited, but they work with you on that. I was given other options for times, as well as a different location. I have no interested in being by the pool or spa, but we are using Sunset Alcove, which is near the walkway to the beach. Our cake and champagne celebration following on Kipuka Lawn so we have privacy

It's not really what I would call private...we've had a room overlooking the lawn (lots overlook it) as that's where the Starlit Hui is...and that's where we did meet and greets with characters like Stitch.

They are closing it off to the public during our reception, so it will be private. I don't really care if people can see from their room. We are paying to have characters present, so they are stationing security around the area and blocking it off.

My apologies - it's Kipuka Lawn. Halawai Lawn is the one I turned down.

What extras did you add on? I am looking at getting married at Aulani with the Escape package in a few years (have to finish school first), but the website doesn't say much. I would like a reception and was so glad to hear you say it includes one. Was that just included as part of the Cake and Champagne reception? Is there time for dancing too? Did you have to pay extra for that second venue? I am new to all of this and it is too far out to request any information,but we will both be graduating college with student loans and no jobs, so we need to budget everything. If you don't mind me asking, what was the total cost after adding all of your extras?

It doesn't include a reception. The cake and champagne celebration can be added for an extra fee. You an add additional floral for an extra fee. You can add appetizer stations to the cake and champagne for an extra fee. You can add a bar. You can add extra entertainment. The base package is $3900 for the single location to have a ceremony, the bouquet, officiant, one hour of photography, ukulele player...anything beyond that is an extra charge.

We actually ended up switching to a Wishes package even having only 19 people because we added on so much stuff that it ended up being a better deal for us.
