We are leaving this nex Saturday. I have some questions I am hoping you can help answer:

1. Do they provide beach towels? If so, can you take them off site?
2. Do they rent snorkeling gear? If so can you take them off site?

Thanks.

1. Not sure, but most resorts around here do ... or at least allow you to take the pool towels to the local beach. Generally you leave the pool towels at the pool so less sand ends up in the rooms.

2. Yes, they rent snorkel gear. Spleen's report has the sign with the pricing though its a lot cheaper to rent it from one of the snorkel gear shops that are ubiquitous in the resort/tourist areas of Hawaii. If you do rent from the Aulani resort, you would have to be able to take the gear off-property, since in Hawaii it is the law that all beaches are public property, cared for by the various parks & recreation departments ... so if you're using it at the beach that Aulani sits on, you are "off-property" from a legal standpoint.

Edited to add: okay, I lied. Spleen's report (which is still awesome) has the Rainbow Reef prices, which we're probably going to try. However, the Disney website itself does have the Beach Equipment Rental pricing.
EQUIPMENT RENTALS
Beach Umbrella with 2 Chairs: $20 for a full day and $15 for a half-day
Rental Kayaks: $30 per hour for a double kayak and $20 per hour for a single kayak
Snorkel Sets: $20 for full day, 15 for a half-day and $10 per hour
Beach Premium-Seating Casabella: $40 for a full day and $30 for a half-day to rent this 2-seater lounger with awning
Stand-Up Paddleboard: $30 per hour or $75 for a half-day (must stay in lagoons)
Please note: Listed rental rates are subject to change.

We'll be there the same time as you! Leaving here Friday, will be at Aulani Sat-Mon though we probably won't be using the beach much, just there for the resort!
