Aulani Standard View

Just booked airfare for trip #2 to Aulani this year! I managed to get a smoking deal, 4 of us round trip for $2000!! Anyway...just looking for some input on the standard view villas. We have done Island View (and have this booked for our arrival in 15 days) but the Standard view are quite a few points less in Nov. I am thinking it is worth the lack of view to get to go twice this year. Hoping to get input from someone who has stayed in one.

Not sure if this helps since we stayed in two standard view hotel rooms (not studios), in the Waianae (sp?) tower, but both had nice views of the mountain. The first was on the fifth floor and the second on the 4th floor- they both had about the same view but the 4th floor one was a little closer to the parking structure and obviously a little lower. I was really pleasantly surprised with both. I was expecting a mostly concrete type view of the parking structure. I'll try to come back and add a photo.

Thanks!! It's nice to hear firsthand that the view was ok. We don't spend a lot of time in the room so I am hoping it won't be a big deal. Really, I'm just thrilled to be at Aulani!
