Aulani reservation - hugh sigh of relief!

I have never felt this amount of pressure to get a reservation - ever! Thank goodness it's over and we got something fairly close to what we wanted. A 2 bedroom, poolside view for 5 nights in June. Not the 5 that we originally wanted, but pretty close.

May I never have to go thru that again!

Now - it's off to the Aulani view thread.

If you are booking August, you the 7 month window would be January, not February.

Congratulations and be careful! Within a few days at Aulani my husband wanted to buy, we even made a stop to speak to a guide for info but the timing wasn't right.

We did however add on during a cruise this spring and are now owners. Having that 11 mos booking window is a real bonus.

Good luck! If you're not already, you may want to start checking the availability with a starting date ahead of when you were planning to go. We ended up altering our dates slightly which was a good move for us because otherwise we couldn't have gotten the size room we wanted. None of them have five straight days of availability at the seven month window. Jumped a few days early and managed to snag it!

I am trying to book a studio mid/end July for 7 nights but won't be closed on our contract until mid December then add another 2 weeks for points to load..... I'm thinking we might miss our chance to book! Anyone know what availability is like in July?

I would recommend starting at the earliest moment at the 7 month window. I did for our June stay and had to waitlist a day in the middle. Luckily I kept checking and it came through so I snagged it. I would call early or book online early in the day.

me too!!! booked 6 nights pool/garden view for June/July by being online at 8AM (well a little before to prep, lol) thanksgiving morning! NOW I am finally excited. Like you said, huge sigh of relief. yay us!!!

Congratulations! June is one of the hardest months to get the exact dates and view type you want at Aulani. I expect that only Christmas and New Year's Eve are the only dates that are more difficult to get.
