So if I do not stay at Aulani can I still pay a resort fee to use the pool?
What activities or other things are for Resort Guests only? I ask because a friend is going to Hawaii and told me that their TA told them they can pay a resort fee to use the Aulani pool and other things.
Does anyone know if Aulani activities that you pay for, even if you are staying there, are for Aulani guests only?

Pool= Guest only.
The Starlit Hui= open to all, but priority given to resort guests.
Dining= open to all (Character dining has priority for resort guests)
Pretty much everything else I can think of is for resort guests only.

I went to Hawaii over Easter and of course when I found out I was going (DH had a business trip) it was too late to get anything at Aulani. We did stop to tour the resort, have lunch, and look around. You cannot use any of the resort amenities as a day guest. Because all of Hawaii's beaches are public you can use the beach, but the chairs and such are for resort guests only. We did a formal tour, enjoyed lunch, looked around the grounds, walked the beach, had a shave ice and bought a few things in the gift shop before returning to Waikiki.

Aulani does not have day passes. You need a wristband to use the pool and to attend the Starlit Hui.

As last I knew, The Starlit Hui gives preference to guests staying in house, however, should the show not "sell out" then anyone can fill the void. You would basically be flying standby. Again, this is just from the last I heard.
