When staying at Aulani ( paying cash not using dvc points) d.o you have to pay for parking?? If so how much is parking per day. I am a dvc member but
I am saving my points for a return trip to Alauni during the summer

The parking fee for those staying on cash is $35 per night. I think some DVC members paying cash have reported success in having the charge removed, but your mileage may vary. -- Suzanne

As PP said, YMMV. We stayed once on rented points, once on our own points, and once on cash. Did not pay for parking any of those times.

When we checked in on the cash reservation I showed my blue member card and asked if we could get self parking fee waived. The CM said no, the free parking only applied to reservations where one was staying on points, and we shrugged since we were mainly there to enjoy a great weekend with friends and they had budgeted for it, just like we would have if we had selected the Ihilani next door which was our other choice. However, when we checked out there was no charge for parking on the bill. We didn't complain.
