Weather was good yesterday and so far today. A tiny bit breezy. We bought umbrellas as soon as we got here, so that might be why the forecast has changed. You know, Murphy’s law. When you are prepared for rain, it doesn’t happen

A little late report but we were in Grand Villa 1089 in Ewa Tower in June 2025 for six nights. All of the talk about Grand Villas urged me to post. Easily my favorite stay at my favorite resort and wanted to say thank you to this thread for all of the helpful posts that have been shared throughout the years. We go back this December for the holiday season and extremely excited (first time being there for the holiday season)! I hope everyone who has upcoming stays at Aulani has a wonderful time!

We leave in 2 weeks and it's been three long years since we've been back. We have most everything booked that we want to do. Just checking to see if there have been any changes. For example: How /when do you get the key to the changing room, how early do we need to get a pool chair etc. Any other helpful hints would be most welcome. TIA

You can request a key to the changing room when you get there. I asked at check in and got mine.

The pool chair is actually a hot topic that doesnt affect everyone in the same way. This is a slower season so you will less problems getting a chair than the in the summer. We aren't early morning people, we would go to the beach or do our excursions and then make our way to the pools later in the day, that way I didnt even stress about chairs. If you need a chair by the pool at the start of the Id go down in the morning 7am first day and access the crowds then you plan for the rest of your days.
