I just booked our OV studio for mid-May. Almost all of April and May is wide open for OV....except May 17. lol!! I had to waitlist it, but booked the rest of my dates.
Are my chances good of one night coming through? And I wonder what the deal is with the 17th?

Not specific to Aulani, Thursdays tend to be the most difficult nights to book at DVC resorts. You get a lot of people arriving Thursday night for a long weekend stay and others in the midst of their full week vacation.

The fact that you're only waitlisting the one night and other nights have vacancies seems to bode well. Good luck.

I can do that, and probably should! But it would mean OV for 3 nights, another view for 1 night, then OV for 1 night....

I would get something for the missing night. Not having something would be worse than having to move in my mind. A one night wait list often gets filled, but not guaranteed.

Oh my goodness! Y'all! I called MS to book another view for the 17 and it literally just matched my waitlist All my nights are booked in an OV studio! Yay!!!
