Hi -
Just wanted to share my experience from yesterday. 5 months out, decided to book our Luau tickets for our summer trip. Went online and was shocked to find that the VIP tickets (yeah, we decided to splurge) were no longer available. Decided to call the resort directly and inquire if by chance they limited the online availability and still had some...and yes!
Just to be safe, before calling them I had already purchased the general admission tickets online. The Aulani CM was able to take my customer ID number, look me up, and upgrade me to VIP, charging me the difference.
Caveat...no guarantee that this will always work, but it is an option to at least try. Aloha!
