Aulani late August 7 months Hotel Room or Studio???

I was able to book studios 2x for early - mid August (once an OV and once an IV). This was before the current shift in the point charts which made all of summer premium season. But I think depending on the type of unit you want the odds are fair if you're online promptly at 8:00 AM eastern when the online booking window opens. Most school systems start back by mid-late August so you lose a lot of competition from families with school aged children.

May depend on what you mean by late August. This year the period from Aug 15 to 27 was difficult at 7 months out with hotel and standard studios missing 10 of the nights, island garden studios 8 and poolside 6 of those dates, and even ocean view studios were missing two the first week and one the second. However, beginning August 28, a Sunday and the equivalent of Aug 27, 2017) and running through Labor Day weekend only hotel rooms and standard studios had issues at 7 months out.
