Just thought upcoming Disers with Aulani reservations might like to know that the official website has been updated with more information about the onsite kids club, Aunty's Beach House. From the "youth" tab on the site:
This state-of-the-art kids' club brims with fun, discovery and of course, magic! From enchanted fireplaces and a dress-up closet, to cozy rain window and visits with Disney friends, Aunty's Beach House will delight kids of all ages. Complimentary for (and exclusive to) Aulani Guests, Aunty's Beach House features such amenities as:
Programs and activities designed especially for kids
Movie room showing Disney favorites
Dress-up costumes closet for hours of imaginative play
Wii and Sony PlayStation® video games
Enclosed and secure backyard, complete with play structure
Experienced Disney Youth Counselors
Secure check-in/check-out process for children ages 3 to 10
and much more!
The lowered age requirement of 3 is a nice change from other DVC properties that set the age of their for cost programs at 5.
My question is, as a DVC member staying on points, will I be entitled to the complimentary childcare? If so, that seem like an AMAZING perk (like way better than valet parking) for my family of 5.
There is also info on the site for other age categories (ie toddlers and tweens). Seems like the onsite activities for all age groups will be extensive. I cannot wait for our trip in late September!
