Mina’s was enjoyable as always. If you are there on a Thursday, the man doing the live music is fantastic!

My wife and I had the tomato salad and the pork belly appetizers & split the swordfish special as an entree. We also ordered the cheesecake and the recommended dessert wine.

First Full Day = Cabana Day!

Hot Tip: People will cancel their spa and/or cabana reservations the day before and so it always makes sense to check the inventory the night before if you were blocked out when you initially called. I wouldn’t wait until the morning of because the line at rainbow reef can be long.

Did you book in advance? Is it 60 days prior? Would love to do this for next summer’s trip, but give me can’t even get the Aulani app in the UK I’m not sure how feasible that will be!

We had the maile deck booked, but when they called the day before to confirm I asked if anything else had opened up and they walked me through their inventory.

I can’t remember if it was 60 or 90 days, but I called right at midnight Hawaii time (3 am my time). You cannot reserve through an app.

Also want to add nothing is booked via the app exept dining and for that you can call too. The app is really just informational imo, no real functionality

Back in the room, ate my California Role poke from Foodland Farms along with Jasemine rice made in the rice made in the room.

Poke with warm rice…. it works!

Alright… my youngest wants to go down to the infinity pool…. time to go get in the water!

Have to find some reservoir of energy for the luau tonight!

Infinity pool is 88 degrees.

Line for general seating for the luau starts early. We got here 30 minutes early and it’s at least 40 deep. Not too shabby….

Hot Tip: Always buy the preferred seating if it’s available. You get in earlier and can start the activities sooner.

You can book most things in the app now Spa, Aunties, Ukulele, Animation, Fitness classes. If you book them in the app they automatically show in your plans and send you notification reminders, if you book online you will have to ask Aulani to link them in order to see them.
