Aulani internet - in room secure connection

If you will be staying at Aulani and need a secure internet connection (for business or financial reasons) you can use the wired connection we found in master bedroom desktop. Plug your own router (we bring our wireless router) and you will have a secure connection for all your devices recognised by your router. This is what we do when ever we travel. BTW we used laptop wired to router and connected to TV with HDMI cable and accessed HBO with excellent transfer speeds so we had access to movies, HBO series, etc. Aloha!

That's still not secure unless you are using an encrypted VPN connection to your business or financial institution. Someone else can plug into a wired connection in another room and capture data going across the network. Any password you type in an unencrypted site a person can see in plain text if they have the right tools. Its no more secure than wireless.
