Resort is a 10. Pool is a 10. Beach is a 10. Ama Ama restaurant is an 8.
Only a couple of disappointments. DVC charges $5 for a tiny bottle of shampoo refill. I wouldn't pay it and it is a giant embarrassment to DVC that I walked next door to the JW Marriott and asked a maid for some shampoo. She gave gave me 4 bottles with a smile! I even told her I was staying at the Aulani and she just laughed and rolled her eyes. Also my filet at Ama Ama was very tough and not up to standards for the price. The seafood is a better choice and was excellent. FYI... the $3.75 sno-cones are awesome and they should be for that price! The staff gets a 10. I highly recommend this resort. We are founding members and also members at BLT & AKV.

Of course they do. As a member, you should know that.

I didn't know that. Of course we've never used so much that we needed to ask for more...AND we also keep our own toiletries in our Owners Locker. But anyway, how are we supposed to know that? Is it the same at WDW?

Although DVC members get free parking, the $35/day parking fee is ridiculous! I was told that it's to keep people from parking there and using the beaches. DVC member or not, if you are staying at the resort, it should be free or a reduced rate. It's not like it is close enough to the airport to take a cab (for a reasonable fare).
