Aulani and Real Estate Taxes

Though Aulani is very appealing to me, my biggest concern is what the Real Estate taxes can have on annual dues. I read that Starwood owners in Mau'i (specifically in the Westin Ka'anapali resorts) are furious over the county's decision to raise taxes on timeshares to increase their revenue. Given the bad economy, I hope that the county there wouldn't do the same.
