Aulani 7 months out?

We are in the beginning stages of planning our first trip to Hawaii. We do not own at Aulani so I can't see the availability for November. I am wondering if this is usually a busy time and if we will have difficulty booking 3 or 4 nights here. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!

Pretty much all open right now even the standard rooms. With a month to go I can’t see everything filling up. Especially if you are ok with island view or higher.

I can't speak to November, but we've gone 3 times in July/August and have never had a problem getting the room of our choice. Good luck!

If you are a DVC member you can use the resort availability tool to see resorts you do not own up to 11 months out. We have booked Aulani in January the last few years with no issues at 7 months. Just don't count on standard rooms being available.

Yea the standards, especially studios, go quickly. We've always done an Ocean View without issue.

We're going in late April which is off-season this year due to Easter falling on April 1st (BWV is our home resort) and very easily booked a standard view 1BR at 7 months out. We later decided to upgrade to Island View with no problems, and it looks like both Island and Ocean View are still available for our dates (check-in 6 weeks from today) with Pool View just disappearing within the last week or so. This seems to indicate that off-peak times are readily available at Aulani at the 7-month window.

I’m going to book Aulani for next May 2019. I too will be booking at 7 months. Glad to read there are some type of rooms available at 7 months.

You still won't get Standard Studios. They will be gone year round. Ocean View is going to be your most likely.

Expect gaps if your travel dates include MLK Day or Presidents Day.
