how hot & crowded is the 1st week of august? We are thinking of making a trip before our kids school starts up in august! Is this a terrible time to go? I am not worried about the heat as much as the crowds, it is ALOT hotter here in Ok. at that time of year. It will probably be a nice break from the heat!

August is usually not that hot -- it's definitely WARM but not unbearable. Crowds in early August are the typical Disneyland summer crowds. It's crowded, but again, not unbearable. And on the positive side, during the summer the hours are usually longer and all shows and parades are done daily.
