Hi,
I am just wondering what the crowds are usually like in early august. I can't decide when to go this summer

Still peak summertime crowds. I know many schools in AZ are back in session the second week of August. Not sure about other states or local CA schools. Of course your best bet will always be during the week, but expect crowds, use fastpass and plan accordingly.

We are going August 6-10 (M-F) and plan to be in the parks for 3 days... Tu-Th... Will the crowds be crazy mid-week?

(Fingers crossed that they are doable )

We always hit the 3rd or 4th week and it is still very busy IMHO. Very hot but we like the heat.
