August/Sept. Crowd?

First post! I'll be in Disney from Aug. 29-Sept. 3...I can't really figure out what the crowds are going to be like. I know it's between when kids are out of school and when crowds are low....so if anyone knows what to expect that would be awesome. Thanks!

Welcome to the DIS!

If you've never been before you might get put off by the crowds, but actually late August is quite manageable compared to the rest of the summer.

Because of the free dining promotion going on then, you should have all your sit-down dining reservations made by now, and if not, you should make them ASAP.

This is our favorite time to go!!!! We will be there from til the 4th (we'll check out that day).

Crowds are VERY manageable!!!! (at least they have been in the past)

THE HEAT IS BRUTAL!!!! still but I guess not as bad as JULY!!

Be sure that you have made your dining ressies!!!!

We typically go that week every year. Heat is horrible - but everyone carries the mister fans and goes at an easy pace...it's tlerable.

Last year we were there and had free dining, and walked onto every ride with no waits. The only time we noticed crowds was EMH evenings.

We are going down from August 22nd-27th and are also wondering how the crowds will be. We took the opprotunity free dining hands out and booked .

We went last year the first week of August, and crowds were not very bad.

We still do wonder how crowds during the day will be.

If this thread is true with walk ons for rides, I am too excited to even wait!

We will be there 8/27 - 9/4!

Same time last year and it was great! At times almost too few people (if that is possible?!) Even EMH evening at MK was like a ghost town.

We are hoping that this year is the same!

Last week in august is my favorite time to go. We will be at the movies aug. 24 to Sep. 2. We have very lucky in the past this time of year.

Great news! We will be at the BC 8/26-9/2 and I was hoping to hear this! We usually go in January and LOVE being able to walk on rides. Yeah!
