August ressies 7 months out?

We are thinking about taking our 2010 trip in mid to end of August. What have been your experiences with getting what you want for resort, view, etc... for a 2-bed at 7 months out? We love our home SSR, but we want to try somewhere we haven't stayed yet like AKV, VWL, OKW, & BLT.

What are the crowds like? TIA for the insight!

I don't think you'll have any problem with the second half of August at 7 months out. It's a pretty low use time of the year especially the closer you get to the end of August.

For the resorts you've listed, I think you'll be in good shape. Unless you want AKV Concierge, of course, which is tough any time of the year.

I have been successful in getting 2 beds at BCV, OKW and AKV Kidani for second half of August- no problems. Did call right at 7 months though. I think you should be fine. Was offered BLT too but took THV instead!

Thanks for the responses! I'm kind of excited as to what we will eventually get. We will be banking all of our 2009 points (Aug use year), so planning for this Aug '10 trip means I will have a TON of points to play with!
