August reservation ?

Hi all! Hoping for some guidance. Haven’t had any response to an email I sent Member Services and haven’t called yet so hoping for some help.

Dec UY 160ptsSSR/50ptsVWL
I have these reservations currently
8/10-8/13 VWL comped stay no pts
8/13-8/14 VWL 48pts 2019
8/14-8/22 OKW 323pts
162pts from 2019/161pts from 2020

We had not purchased tickets yet as 1) we are from CT and subject to quarantine still and 2) our FP window had not opened yet. With the park reservation system I understand that we may not be able to reserve any park time. While we don’t mind a resort only stay we wouldn’t really want a 13 day one.

With a Dec UY, your banking window isn’t until July 31st, As long as you cancel those nights at least 31 days in advance, the points would go back into your account,

The OKW nights you keep would be booked with the borrowed points first, and then any 2019 points you still needed,

If the stayed didn’t even use up the borrowed points, those would be returned to 2020 UY...providing when you cancel they are still allowing it,.,policy could change any time,

All the 2019 points left could then be banked.

Thank you. I didn’t know with them allowing borrowed points to go back how that works. Who am I kidding I’ve never cancelled at all ever so was just checking how accurate my thought process was.
IF I cancelled the whole OKW stay would that allow my borrowed points to go back to 2020 then?

As of today, yes, those points would go back, If you cancel online I would send a follow up email through the link on the website, asking they be returned,

While they say it will happen automatically within 15 days, I wanted to be sure to have a record, so I did that,

If you call or chat with MS...if you can get through...to cancel, then they will put in a note.,,or process it on the phone.
