Hello All
Today was my 90 day mark so I called at 7am Eastern.
On hold for 40 minutes - finished at 7:55 and got all my requests

Sun Aug 9 - Biergarten
Mon Aug 10 - Boma
Tues Aug 11 - Chefs de France
Wed Aug 12 -Mayian Grill (staying at Coronado)
Thurs Aug 13 - Brown Derby
Fri Aug 14 - Hoop de Do
Sat Aug 15 - Ohana
Sun Aug 16 - Le Cellier

Only difficult part was Brown Derby Fantasmic package
Was only able to get 3:45 pm

Question to all - Are the F packages only at certain times of the evening (ie early) or are there just so few per night designated that I was not quick enough to get a decent time?

Thanks

That's a good question. I don't know the answer, but I think it may be a little of both. I have heard the Fantasmic Pkg. runs from 3:30-5:30, but I'm not sure about that, because it has never worked out in our planning. Now that Fantasmic is showing fewer days, I think the pkg. will be harder to get and more popular with people like me who have always just taken our chances with seating.

I am worried that I will end up in the same boat you are in. Fantasmic is only showing Sun, Tues., & Thurs. and Sun is MK EMH night. That leaves Tues and Thurs for us. (Also, I wish Fantasmic was showing on a DHS EMH night. That would have worked better for us, but I guess they don't want two things drawing a crowd there on the same night.)

We will be in Disney for 2 weeks and so I have scheduled all four Tues and Thurs as TL, BB, SW, or SWA so hopefully I will get a decent ADR for one of those days and we will go to TL or BB in the morning and DHS just for the Fantasmic pkg.

My ADR window for the first week opens on the 24th then after 90+10 runs out, I think I have to call every morning for the remainder of my ADRs so if I don't get a good time in the first week, I think I may have even a harder time in the second week!

My point is, I think you were probably lucky to get the package at all, even tough it is way too early for dinner!

I just called for my ADRs 2 days ago. I asked for the Fantasmic dinner package at 7:00. Fantasmic was at 9:00pm for that day. CM told me they only do the dinner packages from 2-5 pm! Who eats dinner that early??:confused3 And even though I called right at 7:00am that morning, the only time available was 4:05pm. Not sure why they restrict the hours for that so much. I will probably end up cancelling that one as I can't see eating that early.

If Fantasmic is at 9:00, you'll need to be there by 8:15 ... an hour isn't much time to eat a full TS meal (assuming 15 minutes to get to the theater), and that assumes you get seated on time. And if they add a second show, then they'd push the first one back to 8:30, so then you'd have to be there by 7:45, and a 7:00 ADR would *really* be tough.

I'd wager there's a second reason though: no one would agree to eat dinner that early if they didn't want to get the Fantasmic package!! :rotfl:
