August Discounts?

Looking for any info on August (last week of July or first 2 weeks of August) discounts for a Universal Vacation package. Do they exist, when do they come out etc. We just had a few weeks open up on our calendar and we just cant stay away for more than a year! ;-)

Probably staying at our favorite - Royal Pacific and doing a 4 day pass (2 park)

For dates I go, have not found a package cheaper for me

My room and ticket cost ( ap) trumps the package

Sometimes you can get better ticket deals at UT

That four week time period you are considering is in the summer period

Not sure what deals will come out for them later


I notice better rioom rates when Loews is trying to fill up all the rooms

I am looking in August as well - Universal does currently have a promotion that extends over the summer months but, like mac said, depending on the hotel and length of stay, you can still find better pricing booking hotel and tickets separately.

Thanks, I used that link and it was cheaper! Still looking for other discounts but for now Ive got a 9 night package with 3-Park Unlimited Ticket

Isn’t is sweet to lock in your hotel room early!

Less to deal with as booking far out in advance, let’s you check out all the possible choices

My hotel booking was done early
Now I am working on my flights

I have 7 months before I hit the darkside

Another August vacation... Going 17-25 Aug and currently have hotel only reservation at RPH for $223/night. Guess will wait and see if anything better shows up.
Considering AP... Any guesses if a lower AP rates for that time will come out ?
