Hi everyone!
Just wondering what the crowds are like in August. I'm thinking of organising a trip then but am a bit apprehensive that it will be ridiculously crowded and unmanageable. We will be going midweek. From either a Tuesday to Friday or a Monday to a Thursday. Probably during the last 2 weeks of August. Is July any easier or worse?
Thanks in advance!! :goodvibes

Both July and August are very busy but also very manageable as the parks are open much later.

We certainly found it less busy than the weekend we did in november

We've been three times in August and find it very manageable. Although it's busy the longer hours and fireworks far outweigh any crowds. :goodvibes

I agree! We've never been in August, but been late July and it was ok. The Magic Hours, warmer weather and the fireworks are well worth it! We're going again at mid-late July (weekend and a couple of weekdays) so I expect crowds. Can't wait!

We went last Aug Fri 8th - Sun 10th

Yes it was busy BUT not as bad as i had expected TBH ! :)

you just need to plan a bit more ,we made the most of EMH and fastpasses

also book your restaurants ( we booked evening meals and just snacked during the day after a big breakfast )

as the park is open so late, you could always have a few hours out, back at the hotel etc when its (hopefully!) hot and too crowded

The nicer weather, and longer opening hours made up for the crowds most definitely :)

and as it is warmer you are not rushing so much, to dodge the rain / cold like we found in Dec ! and everyone is pushing / miserable etc ! :(

We always have to go during school holidays,so we are used to the crowds

If you aren't tied ,then of course it will be better to go during term time

But if not then don't worry too much :)

xx

Hi,

We also were there in August, first time the same period as Rachael, the second on the way back home after visiting friends near Dax. Have to say that this year was far quieter than 2007, why? No idea but far more pleasant!

As been said already, the crowds are managable though! Only thing to watch for as they did at Xmas is for any special offers - at Xmas children where 1 euro entry when accompanied by an adult and it was full as a result!

And of course in the summer, the fireworks are an attraction!
