August Change to 8/30...how will it be?

hi all,

based on your feedback, i was looking into changing our trip to DL from 8/23-8/27 to 8/30-9/3. The APs will still be unblocked but it is the 2nd week - Will this make things better? In other words, is it "worth" the change? (especially since this is the week leading into labor day weekend).

I'll be there Aug 29-31. It seems like a pretty unpredictable time to go! It's out of our control because we'll be in California for a wedding, so we can't move our dates, but we're hoping that it's a slight lull period after the APs come unblocked the week before, plus it's during the beginning of the week and not quite Labor day yet.

Anyway, I apparently don't really have any advice But you should go for the later dates, because I will be there, and misery loves company (if it's busy!)

This is a hard one. If you delay a week you may get a reduction in SoCal AP crowds, but some years DLR reduces park hours and entertainment that next week. Pay attention to the schedule to see.

Just an FYI as I am not sure how many days you areplanning on being in thepark, but the Disneyland Half marathon is scheduled over Labor Day weekend... It may have no effect on you at all, but it may-as I hear parking and checkin/out procedures can be a real hassle if you are staying at the GC or the DH...

Why not push your visit up a week or more, earlier in August....

we tried to do earlier (our preference) but no flights available:-( thanks for the suggestion. i wish we could do that....it would make our decision easier
