August calendar glitch?

I was looking at the August calendar and there's no DCA EE on Friday 8/31 but there is EE on 9/1. So I'm confused because the 5K is on Saturday ending in Cars around 8am ish. So do you think its a mistake?

It has no EA on a few days for DCA and one miss for DL. I think it is a glitch because as stated the race ends in DCA on only one day and the calendar doesn't reflect this.

But it is a 5K on Saturday and 1/2 Marathon on Sunday.

On Saturday the 5K ends in Carsland after going through DL. The half on Sunday goes through DCA then DL at the beginning of the race and then around Anaheim, finishing after going through the DCA back stage. Because racers must maintain a pace in the half they should be out of the parks well before the parks open. It does also take time to clean up after the races.

Do you know how this marathon thing works? Or where I can find info on it? I'm not even sure which marathon it is. You say it ends in Cars at 8am? What time does it start? Ending at 8am seems a bit early but its possible I guess. I am trying to plan a day either the Friday 31th or Sat Sept 1st to spend a day in the Anaheim area doing some shopping. But if there is a marathon running through the park one of those days I need to know which day to avoid. I assume the marathon will be before or after hours, but if it brings in mega crowds on one particular day, well that's the day I will be shopping.

Will there be no early entry for resort guests on 9/1 or 9/2? Those are the only days I have.

And are the runners allowed to stay and get in line for the Carsland rides?

The 5K starts at 6:45am and the half at 5:45. This is why they can be done early or get through the park quickly.

I've been there for the 5k and 1/2 for the past few years and often most runners can't even start the race until 30 mins after the official start time due to the amount of runners. So some 5k'ers won't end in Cars until 8am. They clear the park before letting any ticket holders in because you don't need a ticket to watch your runner finish/cheer on. That's why it would be impossible to have early entry in DCA at 8am as the calendar states, which is why I asked if it was a glitch.

I am assuming it will not be effective on September 1 or 2 - at least not in DCA.

I was there for Labor Day weekend 2011 and remember that the Early Entry for DL was moved from Saturday to Friday due to the marathon. So it might not be a glitch.

Exactly! That's what I remember too. But they have NO EE on Friday at DCA and are showing it on Saturday instead.
