Hi there. New to Disney Cruises and Disboards. I have just booked our first Disney Cruise and am so excited! Roll on 2014. This forum is great. Amazed to read about F/Es and would love to take part.

We chose the 4 day cruise as we wanted to see how our boys (aged 5 and 4) cope with sea sickness etc. and didn't want too long at sea for our first cruise. Plus Palma and Ibiza seem like ideal relaxed beach type locations rather than touring the busy sites of Rome and Pisa on the 5 day cruise with two young children.

Look forward to sharing planning tips and getting to know fellow forum members who will be on this cruise too!

It's delightful to see the community spirit and spreading of the Disney magic in the arrangements the 2013 Disney cruisers are making and hope we get to do the same

Yes it usually starts getting active on the cruise meets a few months prior. I was just so excited I couldn't stop myself from starting the thread!

we've just booked. Loved the Magic two years ago when she came to the Med. Can't really afford/justify WDW next year after four years on the run ... my work means the four night is the only one we can make which disappoints me a little bit, but I'm still excited to be back on the Mickey boat ... and the dry dock confirmation excites me even more! So so excited now .... just a long time to wait! Last time we had an inside cabin on deck 2 (cat 10c) but am stoked to have scored a 9b for just £45 each more ... window here we come

Hi, I have just booked this cruise for us today. I had already booked the 12 night cruise before this one on opening day but couldn't resist the idea of doing our first back to back so we now have 16 nights on the Magic in 2014.

I would be up for the fish exchange although I may struggle for luggage space having already signed up for the one on the first cruise but I'm up for the challenge. It's a good thing that the Magic has a self service laundry because we will certainly be using it.

I have been on the Magic twice before (1 med, 1 caribbean) and will be on her again for the 4 nighter this August so if anyone has anything they want me to find out for them I will try my best. Although obviously the Magic will be going through some major changes after August hopefully all the great things will remain the same and the new things will enhance it even more.

I am traveling with my husband Dave and my daughter Maya (15 at sailing).

hello all!

I really wish we were on the 4 night this summer - it was only one of two dates I could have done because of my job - couldn't afford the 12 nighter and my brother in law is getting married in the middle of the 4 nighter but at least I went to WDW at Easter instead!!

we had a fabulous time in 2011 and are really looking forward to the cruise next summer

Hello All. Mind if I join you? Just booked this cruise! Me (Paula) and DW ( Joanna ) we are a couple in our 40's. We sadly aren't blessed with children but adore our nieces and nephews! We have sailed on The Dream twice on the 3 night bahamas and loved it! Looking forward to trying the Magic we are doing the 4 night bahamas in September again on the Dream ( addicted to Castaway Cay lol ) and just realised Palos does a brunch on the day at sea! Not had a day at sea before so never had the chance. If it's good will book for this cruise as this one has day at sea as well!

So looking forward to joining an FE if we would be invited. We love them! I am disabled so cruising really works for us. We are also DVC members and go to WDW once a year. Usually to SSR our home resort but last time we tried AK and loved that too.

Thank you! Great re FE can't wait Oh yes that would be great you doing Castaway Cay next time it really is a treat. Our ambition is to do the four night 'double dip' cruise. One that goes there twice. I think they do that once a year. Lush!

Roll on next August and Ibiza! Will report if brunch at Palo's is worth $20 surcharge each. I have heard good things about it and the magic.

We are me, Claire my DH Mark and our DD is Lilly - Mae who will be 5 by then.

We are going to be spending a few days at Port Aventura before the cruise, and are really looking forward to it all!
