I'm not going away WITH him....I'm going to go play, and he's just tagging along.

I just may surprise you all and pop in from the business office. Now that I know where it is.

If we all have late dining, and our kids are about the same ages, chances are, we'll have the same rotation.
Like I said before....we can get the same rotation and sit together if I call and ask DCL to put us together. Think about it, and let me know. We have plenty of time.

I like the idea of requesting the same rotation. Last time we were alone at a table for 6 and most nights it was just DH and I. It was nice to relax and eat with him, but would have liked to talk to other people and see what they did that day, etc.

I will check in the User area and all, but of course I don't know how to PM anyone. I only know that it stands for private message. You must do it using the user name. I'll give it a test try first...

Hi Cathy....you did it! I got your PM. You can look at what I wrote you back by going to your "User CP" in the blue at the top of this page...and then go to Private Messages....or you should get an pop-up telling you that you have a PM.

On our first cruise, I was nervous about eating with strangers (I hadn't discovered these boards yet) but it was so great! We did different excursions, so it was great to hear about what we hadn't done...and it turned out that we have stayed friends with this family.

At least we won't be "total strangers" by next summer!
(Maybe "strange".......)

I forgot to tell you that I have to leave early in the a.m. for Vegas, and won't be back till Monday night......so if I don't answer it's because I'm not here!

Hey, speak for yourself !!!

Our first cruise we were sat at a table for 8 with another couple who had no kids. It was great, we were our servers only table. That was in Oct. 99 before the ships started filling up. Needless to say, we were completely spoiled by the service and attention we received. We still expect all servers to live up to the servers we had on that cruise. Then our lead server went on to become a head server in the dining rooms, he still remembers us when we cruise. I hope he's still on the ship next year.

You are so lucky Vickie, I am jealous. I am off today and Monday, but only took a few long weekends this summer after our April cruise. We are taking a long weekend in Maine for our anniversary in October (9/30/89 was wedding date). We did a Norwegian cruise for our honeymoon which was fun.

Hope you are/were lucky in Vegas Stacey!

My DD left to sleep over a friend's house for two nights. DH and I have a wedding tomorrow night. I should go try on outfits to see what fits me. I wanted to buy a new dress, but I that would have been a reward if I dieted better. I bought new things for the cruise so I will shop in my closet.

We had open house today and it looks like we should have a contract tonight for asking price for our house. We are so very excited and so very exhausted. It's been a busy 2 weeks since we came back frm WDW.

Our realtor just called and he has the signed contract in hand and a deposit as well. We just need to sign it tomorrow morning .

We had a great time....was surprised at the party that I got to go to..it was very very nice. The room we had was huge. 1700 sq ft.
Phil Collins' concert was really good, but bad accoustics.
Will write more later, taking the kids to dinner.

P.S. I'm a big fat loser! (too bad it's not a diet I'm losing at)

We signed the contract today, so the house is officially SOLD!!! Now we are trying to coordinate both settlement dates, looks like it will be the 27th now. I guess I have to change my countdown timer again , but at least this will be the last time.

Glad to hear that you are home Stacey, sorry to hear that you were not a winner though. I was counting on you buying dinner every night on the cruise.....oh wait, dinner is included - lucky you.

Congratulations Jilljill on selling your house!! That is so exciting. It is a lot of work, but it is fun to have a change and a better house or location.

Welcome back Stacey, sorry you lost but the room sounds huge! My house was only 1800 sq ft before the addition went on.
