I sometimes wish I had more kids, for her sake especially, but we just waited and waited until it seemed too late. I was almost 32 when I had her. My sister has a daughter and then a son 8 1/2 years younger, I just spoil him now. We are trying to cruise together but the timing hasn't worked yet. She is a DVC member but hasn't tried the cruises yet.

I wish the TAs would tell people about this website when they book the cruises. I guess they don't want to give business to the sponsor? Then maybe more people would find us.

Hi Cathy! I'd never thought about TA's telling people about this site...maybe we would get more visitors. But you're probably right...they might be giving business away, too. I found this board somehow....must've been listed on one of the other sites I looked at for cruise info.

I had Jordan at 32 and Jared at 35. It was almost getting too late. But at that time, I think I still felt like I was in my 20's. Now I have days where I feel like I'm in my 40's.......oh..no wonder! I AM in my 40's!!!! I keep trying to deny it!

Silly me, I keep forgetting about my 'collection'. I didn't add to my 'collection' on my last trip .


Oh my I think it may snow.....we actually cooked dinner at home tonight . Still didn't use the kitchen, we grilled. That's a big step for us. I have decided that we need to eat the food in the freezer so we don't have to move it.

I forgot it's a bit hard to gamble with a child along. Send her to get ice cream and you can hit a machine for a few minutes - that's what my parents used to do with us out there. But then again that was many years ago when it was safer and not so many people.

Hope everyone had a good 4th. Very quiet around here, I had to work and then we actually grilled. Then DH went into work.
But we did get a contract for someone to redo our deck, so that was a good thing. He will get started today and hopefully be done today or tomorrow.

I have to at least spend the $500 that NewYork NewYork is putting on my Player's Card. They call it "Free Play". We figured we'd put the girls in the room with a lot of food, and a couple of movies. They have DVD players in the suites. Jordan is too big a chicken to go anywhere alone. For once, I'm glad for that.
Before anyone calls Child Protection Services, she's 14.....so there's no crime being committed!!

Thanks Jilljill for trying to save a T.O.P. for me. I have gotten a few along the way. I am just not fast enough and my DD was on this computer all day today it seems. We only have one computer at home with internet connection. She has her own computer in her room for Word, Excel, games, music, etc. but we only have internet in the den area. She knows I will be taking over the computer for Big Brother starting tomorrow since I watch the live feeds and go in the chat room there. The good thing is I can minimize it and just listen and come here to post too.

Hope Stacey is having a good time and sneaking in a win of some money!

I get carried away with BB5 and watching the live feeds and in the chat room for that. I am listening to them right now. Hey BB6 will be going on in LA next summer when we are there! Cool. I will have to tape the show and miss the feeds while we are gone unless I sign up for the internet on the ship, but I wouldn't want to do that. It costs too much to sit and do what I can do at home...
