We just returned yesterday from a short weekend trip! I went with my parents. This was my first trip in my 20's and also my first trip without my sister. Overall the trip was fantastic, WDW has just as much magic now as it did on my first trip when I was five. Here are just a few things I noticed during the week:
Magical:
-Crowds were really low thurs and fri due to Hurricane Hermine! Smallest wait times I've ever seen
-Accomplished EE 9 times in one day. 9 times!!!
-I personally adored Jungle Book Alive. I had heard very mixed reviews but I loved every minute of it, especially the dancing. I am sad the show was so short lived!
-First trip ditching the tennis shoes for a few days and using my slides with memory foam, and had very happy feet
-Mosquito Control spots everywhere with free bug spray. Just convenient!
-Cronut. Cronut cronut cronut. (Crossaunt-donuts, found in Canada of the World Showcase)
-Watched Main Street Electrical Parade from Frontier Land, so much less crowded and more enjoyable
-I personally love the parks in the rain. The masses disappear, and with the heat the rain feels so nice! I've always been a jump-in-puddles kinda girl though
Not so Magical:
-AK crowds definitely increase at night, with less of the park open to absorb them
-It was a 10 minute walk from the bus stop to our hotel room at All Star Music, very tiring after a long day
-Dehydrated little girl throwing up on my feet on a bus ride-make sure your kids are drinking lots of water!
-TOT technical difficulties: two of the elevators were down so they were only allowing FP+ in line, and the wait with a FP was 40 minutes! We had one so it was fine, but I felt sorry for those who missed out on this ride because of it
-Crowds on Sat. were INSANE at MK!
Overall had an amazing time, can't wait to plan our next trip!
