Bobby: I agree with Joanna, you see people dressed all different ways on formal nights. On last years Royal Caribbean cruise we saw full formal - ball gowns, tuxes- all the way down to some people who wore jeans and t-shirts. Most people did wear formal attire, nice suits and ties for the men and fancy dresses for the ladies. I saw all dress-lengths on the ladies too. My two fancy dresses are: ankle length for one of them, and below the knee for the other one. Not sure if I'll buy new fancy dresses for this year or not. I'll wait till it gets closer to the cruise and go shopping and see if I find anything that I like.

It kills me to wear a Suit In the 95 Degree weather that week, But I figure Thats what we are paying for..

I now have 4 Disney Themed ties..and YES I learned after 34 years to tie them..Thanks to the Internet..Woo Hoo..

I'm going to echo Joanna and say how sweet that is for you to say about Cindy and I think you BOTH look very nice. Having never been on the cruise and not experiencing formal night before I guess I really can't say but I think it would be fine from every dress "code" description I have read! I was going through old bridesmaid attire at the WAY back of the closet to see if any could make it to venture out again as well!!! Not as lucky as Cindy, I think I will be buying a new dress!

Anyone - How long are each of the shows exactly??? About an hour?

That dress looks fine to wear on formal night. Sounds like Bobby likes it too... I have a below knee beaded dress and my daughter has a long lt blue dress (looks like it can be Cinderella's dress).
On the formal night of the Carnival cruise we took 2 yrs ago, there were all sorts of long flowing gowns.

Bobby: they also take photos, just about every night. That is a great way to get family protraits as well. Hubbie and I got some great B&W ones too. And WTG on the tie tieing. Now you a BIG BOY NOW,,lol

They e-mailed me and asked to be included on the Scavenger Hunt list. I will add them to the cruise list once I get official approval but didn't want to do so before they gave the OK.

Back on the parasailing kick. Want to do it but am afraid. I have to do a count soon on your site and see how many leis we will need.

Soon we will be hitting 60 days. right now there are NO cabins availabe, we will see how many open up when it is pay time.

Ok I did a quick count and came up with 73 DISers and 4 more of my friends that believe it or not, are not internet addicted. Amazing how some people have a life LOL
So that will be 77 leis. SO FAR

How many people do you think will really show up at the DIS meet from your past experiences? I plan on bringing enough of green leis, but am curious. On the inaugural Western, I think everyone showed up.
