Has anyone ever flown into SANFORD? Its the only airport that could get us out that night the cruise ends.. and not get home at 12-midnight?

I've used that airport a numbe of times. No problems at all, it's very small and drop the car off, walk across the street and check in in less then 10 minutes. It's great, i wouldn't worry about it at all.

Only thing there is not many places to get anything to eat there so if you're going to be there awhile and not get any food on the plane, I'd pick something up before hand.

Oh wait, you'll have eaten for 7 days straight non stop, I doubt you'll be hungry anyway

Hi everyone! My name is Melanie. I am new to the boards and just wanted to add that my husband, Adam and I will also be sailing on the 8/28/04 Western cruise for our 7 year wedding anniversary. It is our first cruise (we are even getting away without our three children!) and we are EXTREMELY excited!!!! My husband has countdown clocks on everything we own including his computers at work!!! Just wanted to say hello and I CAN'T WAIT TO GO!!!!

The reason I booked the Western last year was because I wanted to go to Tulum. Decided against it because I thought it would be too much for DD. I keep bouncing back and forth on it this year. I will probably just go ahead and book the excursion or be sorry later.

Although I'm sure you've seen this thread, I wanted to post it here to make sure that anyone considering the Tulum Ruins excursion sees it. I think the posters have sold me on the idea and I think Travis and I will most certainly be trying this excursion come August!

Jason and everyone: Tulum is the one excursion that we've been saying all along that we will definitely do. It is a long day, but DH and I feel that it'll be worth it, because who knows when we'll be back in Mexico again with DSs.

On Friday, May 14th I got the horrible phone call that my brothers plane (he was a pilot) had crashed right outside BWI and he had passed away. I have spent the last 9 days crying and trying to make sense of why God would take a 34 year old guy who was one of the most awesome people I ever knew. I dont even know how to console my mother.. she has buried two husbands and now her only son.

If you could please keep my mom in your prayers I would really appreciate it.

Ginny, I am so sad to hear about this I had read about the plane crash, not realizing he was your brother I feel so bad for all of you, but especially your mother. I can't imagine the pain of seeing one's child pass away. Please extend my deepest sympathies to your family.
