How does 9am sound for everyone? Gives everyone time to get up have breakfast and such, and then we would still have the day to relax at sea!

Kelsey, I don't think that 9am would be a good idea, because this is when the stateroom hosts will be making up the rooms and I really do not want to get in their way, as they have a lot of work to do as it is.

I'd rather think that an afternoon time would be better.

Haha, I'm a tortured Sabres fan too, but with a new deep pocketed owner and no financial mandates things are looking up!

Your relatives all live in the Northtowns of Buffalo. We live in the Southtowns. Buffalo isn't a big city (which is great for getting around the region). Clarence is no more than 35 minutes from us (about the same distance as Niagara Falls), and Amherst is only 20-25 minutes.

I'm the only one in my family what wasn't born in Buffalo... (I'm a Minnesota boy actually). My mom was born in East Aurora, and my Dad was born closer to Utica (Little Falls), but ended up in Buffalo (SUNY). All my siblings were born in Buffalo.

My original hockey team was the North Stars until they deserted to the south. Now I'm a Rangers fan (big surprise, living in NYC).

Hi all, we just booked this cruise in July and can't wait to go! (Yay!) Unfortunately, I didn't come across this thread until today. I guess we are waaay too late to join the FE list?

Regardless we will still hang a FE since my son has already made one. Is it ok to participate unofficially? ie. give away gifts to the official FE list?

I'll let my son know that we missed the cutoff for FE so no expectations for him.

I also have extra gifts too !! So yes if I could get all your names (some are personalized as well!), ages of any kids and stateroom that would be great !

2nd at 8:00PM : Both will be held across from Ghirardelli ice cream.
Then we will have one at the Vista Cafe at 3:00pm the day we embark

In the Bahama's we plan on just doing a little walking around with a stop at Turtuga rum factory and some liquor store of coarse the straw market.
I really want to do the mixology tasting and maybe the martini or champagne tasting. What about everyone else.
Most of all for my DD I need to visit with Mickey and the gang as much as posible!!
Number thing I need is time to relax and watch the ocean!!!

So, plans ......
Day 1, enjoy sailaway and meeting everyone
Day 2, CC, enjoy ocean and cabana on CC
Day 3, Nassau, most likely we will visit Tortuga - you MUST sample the rum cake - yum yum!!, Bacardi and do a little window shopping, if it is not too hot we might walk up to the Queen's staircase, Palo dinner
Day 4, at sea, breakfast, Captain's reception (or whatever this is called), Palo Brunch, Stateroom Crawl, Remy dinner - if we can fit it in, tastings would be fun (we have done champagne, wine and martini, so far, but we would do them all again )!
Day 5, CC, enjoy ocean and cabana on CC
Day 6, wave goodbye to you all and turn around and get right back on the ship

We're scheduled for Parasailing at 10am on day one. Might do the Stingray Encounter on the 2nd CC day, haven't decided yet. Will definitely rent bikes and pedal out to the lookout tower on day one. DIL and grandkids will probably do the Stingray Encounter on the 1st day but not sure what time.

The rest of the day we'll spend time at the family beach and then move to Serenity Bay to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Quick question for everyone. My son wants to bring his Macbook (the 13" model) - can anyone tell me whether there is a safe in the room and whether a laptop will fit in it? I don't want him bringing it if it can't be secured properly. TIA.

There definitely is a safe, not sure about the size though, but if I remember correctly it is bigger than the ones at WDW.

That's good to hear. I definitely don't want him bringing it if we can't lock it up. He worked hard to save for it and it would be a shame if anything were to happen to it.
