We are researching FE gifts right now and have some questions: Is there a spending amount recommendation? Do you give a gift every day or 1 larger gift on 1 day? Do you remain anonymous?

My DD (14) is wondering if there are any other kids on the boat who may be looking for a friend to hang out with. She is an only child that stays with us a lot (which is great!) but she is hoping to find a friend. She is a "kinda shy until you get to know her" girl who loves Dance and One Direction. "

My daughter is 12 and loves dancing and 1D as well. I don't think they will be in the same kids' club though. My daughter wil be in the tween one. It would be nice if they could chat ahead of time though and maybe meet up. I think you can ask to have your daughter in the tween group but my daughter cannot move up.

If you click on this link http://www.distickers.com/ticker/main.php you can make a ticker.
Then copy the code and put it in the signature field in the user CP section.

As to your FE question: there are no rules regarding the amount you spend or the number of your gifts, I can only tell you what I do, but, really, there will be many different ways families do their FE exchange.

I usually have one gift for the family and one for each child and distribute the gifts once during the cruise.
The amount I spend naturally depends on the gifts I make and isn't relevant as most things are more expensive here than in the US.

I really like that our FE exchnage isn't heavily regulated so everybody can have fun without pressure .

Just want to say Hi! Joining in VERY late - we just booked yesterday. There is no way I will be able to catch up and two very full threads from the past 2 years. I do not know how you all handle the excitement and anticipation for that long, I would have darn near lost my mind.

We are a family of 4 - second time on the Fantasy - hoping she redeems herself from our first time on her (not bad by any means but not my most favorite cruise experience!) she is an absolutely stunning ship and I really look forward to sailing on her again.

So there is the hubs and me, plus my 14 year old dd and 5 year old ds. DD is hoping to try Vibe this time around - but we will see

We now have 30 days to figure out what to do in Port - eek! and also hoping that our waitlist for main dining comes through

No me. It is still July; and as a rule, teachers tend to not wish the summer away. It's a difficult line to walk when you are looking forward to a Disney Cruise
