Can you believe I've never ever had a Monte Cristo? It's been on the list to try but haven't had a chance yet. I seem to find something I enjoy and then get the same thing and eat at the same places every time. Lol. I need to expand my horizons this trip.
We’re a family of four, two adults & two girls ages 11 and 13. Our must-eats are Plaza Inn Chicken (we usually get one plate & add lots of extra chicken for a moderate upcharge), Paradise Garden Grill’s Lamb and Beef Meatball Skewers, Earl of Sandwich sandwiches, Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen’s beignets, Mint Julep, Dole Whip, Cozy Cone Popcorn, Jolly Holiday’s Raspberry macaroon... I’m sure I’m forgetting something. What's all on your list of must eats??

On a side note. I checked in for my flight!! Less than 24 hours. … hmm, I wonder if I stop eating now I will have more room for all this deliciousness.
Oh, I didn't realize those were still there (or back?) We got one last summer randomly because I had thought they were gone. It was so good but SO sweet. We shared 2 between our group of 8.Also, I’m crossing my fingers that they will still have the Pineapple (aka Dole Whip) donut at Jolly Holiday when I go. I’m still seeing people post them on Instagram, but I am not sure how much longer they plan on selling them
I'm a big fan of the corn dogs. We get those every trip.I'm finally going to try the pommes frites at Cafe Orleans., and believe it or not I've never had a famous DL corn dog, or the popcorn. I watched a YouTube review of the Hungry Bear menu, which looks delicious. I want to try a lobster roll or shrimp salad from Harbor Galley. Other than that, my list is a mile long with sweets! Oh my goodness! I am also totally off my diet for this trip!
I'm so excited to see the Tropical Hideaway and try all of the Dole Whips. I can fully admit I was completely skeptical about how good Dole Whip really is I was astonished when I tried it. My lucky littlest guy had Dole Whip as his first taste of ice cream as a baby. I love the expression on his face when he tried it. So cute. “Budget Blue Bayou” (waterfront seating at the Tropical Hideaway—as all of Dland’s quick service restaurants, they are ok with your bringing in food from other quick service places in the park; my kids enjoy Stage Door Café Corn Dogs with French fries here, while I just returned from Red Rose Tavern with a “Beast’s Forbidden Burger”).
Other places that my family and I like: Flo’s V8, Awards Wiener, Smokejumpers Grill, Rancho Del Zocalo, French Market,...
Has anyone tried the grey stuff? I’m assuming it’s delicious (sorry for the pun). It’s what my daughter wants.
I found that Flo’s and Plaza Inn’s chicken taste pretty different from one another, so giving the latter a chance to (hopefully) wow you is definitely worth it.Meals to try
-Plaza Inn fried chicken (I had it Flo's and was NOT impressed but I'm willing to try again. I love fried chicken)
That is how my mind works haha... ok lets start planning. We are planning next Halloween hahaOr...
That could be the kickoff to planning your next trip.

I've had it 3 times, once at Red Rose and twice at BoG. While I enjoyed it, I'm not sure I will get it this trip.
Another day, another dining reservation change for us!
I looked over the menu for Carthay Circle and while we have enjoyed all of our meals that we have had there, there is nothing on the current menu that really appeals to me so I cancelled that reservation. We like the CC Lounge menu so we will grab lunch there one day. We've been to WCT a few times and have always had decent food there so I added that one in place of CCR.
So, now this is what we have booked and planned, as always subject to our changing whims!
